Hi,
We have never had any bother with the checking of gas bottles (they don't even seem to check on the French side)
When going through the gas bottle check they tell you which lane you go in and if you follow the instruction I can't see how anybody can queue jump.
Even better now is, if you have a booked ticket you self check in at the entrance.
Would not go across the channel now by any other means. You are no sooner on the train than its time to drive off.
The staff have always been helpful and very friendly.
Hope this helps
All the best Nidge
