microwave ovens

peter, I am unsure in what respect you mean ok e.g knocking it off the work surface and onto your foot, but if you mean electrically then it will draw approx 3amps with a surge of possibly double that at switch on.
 
Be aware that not all sites have 16 amp supply. Some are as low as 10 amp even in the UK, but shouldn't cause any problems.
 
Sorry ray it's the amps that I was thinking about but after reading the posts I now know that it will be ok so of tommorrow to buy one thanks peter.
 
We have only come across one site that would not support microwave use in the van in 20 years of using one

That was in Prague in 1991

You just have to remember to switch off all other 230V appliances and the heater off before use to be on the safe side
