Any one been to Fort William in the last week? My son and I are travelling with the dog up this weekend for the MB Championships and wondered how bad the midges were?
 
Are the midges active throughout the summer?

We are thinking of travelling to Scotland towards the end of August.

Would they be a problem then?

The midge season is generally from end of May to end of August.They will still be around when you come up but hopefully not in such large numbers.Make sure you buy some Skin So Soft from Lord Brakewynde.!!
