Milenco Alpha Diamond Wheel Lock help

Hi, I wondered if someone might be able to help. We're just about to take our first trip in our first caravan and we're checking everything out before we go. We have the Milenco Alpha Diamond Wheel Lock and we can't seem to remove the inner lock using the key. The first came out no problem but the second isn't budging. We need to remove this before we can use the Allen key to attach to the wheel.

I hope this makes sense!

Any help/advice greatly appreciated!

Hi there, If I get this right, you can remove the outer lock with the key. But the inner screw will not release.
Try putting a chock on the other wheel, release the parking brake and with someone on the tow hitch rock it sideways whilst trying to remove the locking bolt.
I hope this works for you.,

Our caravan insurance specified certain locks and this was the only one that the dealer could supply. I must say that the amount of information/videos/instructions supplied by Milenco online is lacking.

Thanks for your reply. We haven't actually put it on the wheel yet - stumbled at the first hurdle! The first little lock crews out but the second one just doesn't seem to move at all.

Try gently tapping with a light hammer, and some penetrating oil.

Just looked at the vidoe, I now see what you mean, I would be tempted to take it back to the dealer that sold it to you. Let them lube and hit it with their hammer, or give you a new one.

Thanks, everyone! A very helpful caravan accessories shop assistant showed us what to do. You have to hold the bolt at the opposite end so that it doesn't spin round at the same time.
