Milenco Wheel clamp

Has anyone any experience of using the Milenco with alloy wheels. I've had the Milenco for almost 4 years & have found it's no problem with steel wheels/plastic hubs, but I'm concerned it might rub & scratch against alloys. Any thoughts?

We use a Milenco clamp with alloys and havn't had any scratching problems and we do use our van a lot, however if your worried about scratching the wheel try sticking some ducktape or similar tape to the contact points on the clamp.

If you mean the three piece Milenco I stuck a piece of carpet on the back where it meets the wheel.

We have been using a Milenco clamp for almost 4 years with alloys and i'm not aware of any scratching. We haven't taken any precautions such as tape on the back and so I dont't think you are likely to have any probs.
