Mill Farm and the Bridgewater Carnival

Having just returned from a weekend at Mill Farm I wanted to warn those planning a visit there against having visitors. My brother and his partner visited us (he lives locally)on Saturday and got charged £3 each for the privelage. They were there all of an hour before we went off sightseeing for the day. Some advice too for those going to the Carnival (which was excellent), don't hang around afterwards. The centre of Bridgewater was like Dodge City on a bad night. Fighting, drunkeness and generally very unpleasant.

Still, not a bad weekend.

Thats terrible - didn't the locals object to your behaviour?

Seriously, I believe Bridgwater (no "e" at the end of bridge) is like that most weekends - something to do with mixing celophane gas with scrumpy.
