Having just had one of these as a Christmas present (my old Tom Tom died RIP) it works really well and well pleased with it but for one thing.When searching by inputting and address it uses a form of predictive text which in the main is good but for example I input Burton on Trent and then Wellington Road and Shobnall Road but in each case it did not recognise these but came up with a list of other roads excluding the ones I wanted.
Any suggestions or ways of switching off the predictive text facility.

I just went to the "MIO" website and there is a "Support" section.
You can download the "Hardware/Software" instructions and its about 7.57MB (took me about 1 minute)
I then found a section called "How do I use keyboard screen"
I think this may be what your looking for.
