Mirrors Do Not Fit New Car

Sorry everyone, posted this in the wrong 'New Members' section,

I thought I would check and fit my Milenco Grand Aero Mirros to my new Kia Sorento, but they would not fit on, as the mirror casing is angled. Has anyone else had this problem who can guide me in the direction I need to take, annoyingly I have two sets of these mirrors. Appreciate any comments that can help me sort the problem, hopefully without having to purchase new mirrors.

You can buy replacement pads, V pads which, according to the milenco website blurb, suit Kia Sorento from 2010 onwards.
I bought a set and found they worked on my tow car which also has angled casing,

I get a new car on Friday so will make sure I check that out. Would not want to hitch up to go away and find they are a problem.
