last week in the supermarket car park I stood with the trolly trying to get into a blue focus, The blipper wouldn't work and I was getting wet as was the trolly load of shopping! swmbo was stood by the boot of the LR in the next row waiting to see how long it would take me to realise which car we were in that day. The sad thing is that it often happens and when let out on my own I often have to text to ask which car I have and which one is on the drive at home. Of course I'm not allowed out on my own much!! Best observation yet was on a COC rally when I commented coming out of the social that there were an awful lot of coachman's on site and I hoped we'd remember where ours was!

I've often said I should be a member but never been invited to join!!! Not sure if there's a ranking high enough for me though!

A couple of years ago at a conference, a friend & I spend about an hour looking for his hire car so he could give me a lift to my hotel that was a 10 minute walk away.

Last year, wife and I flew to Adelaide to visit her parents, both 80.
Arrived after 25hour flight, then spent an hour towing cases around
The car park, 'cos father in law forgot where he parked!

A neighbour of mine parked his recently purchased LR Discovery in a car park in Gravesend. When he was returning from doing his shopping, he saw a green Discovery passing him coming out of the car park. He turned and ran after it shouting at the driver to stop, but he just sped off. He reported his loss to the police and subsequently his insurance company. Anyway 2 weeks later, he received a phone call from the police informing him that his Discovery had been found. When he asked where it had been found, they said "Oh in the carpark that you had reported it stolen from Sir! Oh and there is 2 weeks of parking to pay for, as it has not left the car park in that time". He felt such a fool, but he was able to laugh and tell me about it.

When I had a Cavalier I did try enter the wrong car twice when identical cars were parked near mine. In France we were on a site some years ago where they sited an identical Coachman Mirage next to us and a third very similar Mirage opposite just to confuse us. If you drank too much at night it could have been confusing but instead we all got together in the evening and had a bottle or two of wine.

Couldn't find my Range Rover when I came out of the Goodwood Revival a couple of years ago. As it was getting dark, I was quite worried until a steward in a Ford Kuga called me over. Apparently there are about a dozen of these fellas, whose job is to drive around looking for people like me who can't remember which field we parked in! I'll make a note this year, though!
