I am hoping to use my wifes Carisma auto to tow our Swift Challenger 400SE. Can anyone give me information as to the suitability of this car as well as the use of an automatic for towing?

hi malcom

i have towed with a carisma 1.6 auto, found the 1.6 well under powered of coarse it depends on the weight of your van. did not find the fact it was an auto a problem. now tow the same van with a 2.0 diesel can hardly tell it`s there.
