We have a combo dvd tv which we have barely used as it doesn't have a freeview tuner built in and dont want to be lugging around another peice of kit when out in the van. I have seen this on towsure but not sure if they are worth the money, ie does it actually work;

Anyone used one or anyting similar. I am trying to avoid having to buy a new TV/DVD player but feel it might be in order.

Thanks

Make sure your TV is compatable with DVB signals or it will not work on your tv............have you seen the small freeview box at argos....very small and only £18.

The tv doesnt have to be compatible with DVB,thats the point of the adaptor,it only needs a scart input.I havent used that particular one but the similar one I used from Currys was poor quality.The same unit is for sale at 39.99 on Amazon.They normally only work in excellent reception areas which clearly would not be suitable for a huge number of sites.
