Model engine kits for sale

Where can I get a model steam engine kit i.e. something like the Flying Scotsman? A search seems to throw up results relating to complete trains when I want to build one from scratch. I don't want a working model as they would cost and arm and a leg. Thanks.

What scale? That would focus a search better.

When completed I would want to put it on a shelf in the room so don't want a big one. No idea of scale.

Something like that, but slightly smaller i.e. 30 - 40cm and made from plastic preferably with colours already ingrained. Don't want to spend more than £100.

Next scale down is OO where £100 will get you the Hornby version, but that's ready built.
