hi all,
i am thinking about buying a mondeo estate probably about 59/60 reg. i currently have a bailey pageant bugundy(09) 1430gs. does anyone have experience with towing with the mondeo auto or should i stick to manual?

We have run three manual Mondeo estates on the mag - 2.5T petrol (awesome, thirsty), 140PS TDCi (good) and our current 163PS TDCi Zetec - All fabulous towcars that I've towed with and would recommend without reservation. I have towed with a Powershift auto, last year at the Towcar Awards, and liked it very much However, I know that some people on the forum have struggled with the auto box and I'm sure they will be along shortly!
 
we have 2010 2.0 tdi (140) hatchback manual towing 1200kg @ 76% , very nice car good fuel comsumption both solo & towing, whattowcar.com have lots of user reviews, don,t get 18 inch low profile tyre , very expensive tyres & car grounds solo & towing & very easy to damage against kerb.....hope this helps ...hasbo
