Does anybody know the nose weight limit of the above car? Were interested in buying one and know the towing weight limit but have been told to check the nose weight limit. Our Focus is only 60kg so we need to upgrade the car but before we go and spend our savings we need to make sure we can tow a decent caravan.

From 05 to 2007 when they updated as follow's;

Nose weight 75kg

Max tow 1800kg

Pardon my asking, but how does the noseweight fit in as a criterion for towing a 'decent caravan'? If it were the towload limit or even the kerbweight I could understand, but how come noseweight is a make-or-break issue when it comes to purchasing a car? The noseweight can surely be adjusted to suit the requirements.
