Paul I've never driven one of these, but the car has bucket loads of power and other Mondeo owners rate it highly so should tow virtually anything within it's weight, nosewieght and towing limits - your handbook will have all this info. Towbars are best bought from an independent towbar specialist as they're much cheaper for normally the same product from the Car Dealer. I'm sure a detachable one will be made for your car, but they are about 30-40% more costly than fixed 'bars though. Phone round for a quote, your Y/Pages is bound to list towbar fitters, many offer a mobile service and fit at your home or office.
