More poor design!

The bedroom Heki blind let loose again last week. The second tiny plastic lug which takes the stress of the pretensioned strings snapped. Last year a carefully placed self tapper worked. This time it was a lot harder to fit without losing the tension. See the second self tapper in place. I wonder how long this will last?
Just a shame the design puts such a strain on the tiny feeble plastic lugs!

It's plastic, it becomes brittle over time. So long as an item survives past its guarantee period the manufacturer is happy!
