Like you I will have to think about this one, but the one I always remember is the Citreon ad, the car that turns into a skater on Ice, really clever.

Doris Day sang "Move over Darling" in the background.

A very good looking lady drove a Classic Jaguar on a deserted road and the car stopped.

She got out and looked beneath the bonnet.

She reached in a pulled out the remains of a broken fan belt.

You can probably guess the rest if you cannot remember it

The best advert on TV must be the Wales Tourist Board highlighting the virtuous wonders of Wales. These all come before the well known seven wonders of the world such as the sphinx, etc. This advert is closely followed by the adverts for Welsh beef and Brains beer. The worst is the belittling advert for Pot Noodle.

Must have missed the Welsh Tourist Board Ad. I guess it was very short.

Apart from "they Peel them with their little knives"

"1001 cleans a big big carpet for less than half a crown"

I guess that will leave a few guessing.

For us it's got to be the Famous Grouse adverts usually on around Christmastime. One of the few clever adverts that doesn't have any speaking or loud music, but still gets your attention. Not a bad drink either!

Always made laugh that they spent a fortune at Christmas on the

"don't say ****, say Co" ads only to still hear people ask for a COCKburns port.

I guess providing they got the sale they did'nt really care what people called it though.

The Rossiter and Collins ads for Martini have to be some of the all time greats.
