Motor Movers and Levelling Ramps

Recently I had to level the van crossways usinga levelling ramp and the pitch was not large enough to use the car and van hitched up. So I put the van into position using the mover, but when I came to move the van up the levelling ramp the van just pivoted around the ramp. So I had to jack the van up and insert the ramp.

Has anyone any experience in using the levelling blocks that are all flat but you build them up like lego. Alternativelly a length of wood with progressively increasing 1 inch steps might be the answer.

I would welcome any tips.

Cheers

I use flat pieces of wood bevelled at the end so that wheel gets an easy run up the wood.

I've found the van does skew to the side when both motors are moving the van.

The way round this I have found is to use only one motor at a time.

The van will skew towards the side that has the levelling block, when this happens stop and power only the wheel that is running up the block.

By turning on each motor alternatively straight level positioning can be achieved.
