Hi,

I am thinking of having a motor mover fitted due to illness. Series 6 Bailey Pageaent Burgendey max MTPLM 1400 kg. Has any one any suggestions, also I need to possibly have it fitted by a mobile fitter in the Cheshire area.

Thanks Rob

I have today order my Powrtouch heavy duty mover, the service was brilliant from Theresa who was so helpful, even offering several finance options.

Will be fitted onto the van at home on the drive.

Have had Truma in past.

Hi Rodger,

How long between ordering the unit and fitting date as I go to france in two and a half weeks and the wife thinks I need to get one fitted due to illness before we go.

I ordered a Powrtouch model 3 with the electric actuator on Monday of this week. the parts arrived Thursday and the fitting is scheduled for this Saturday.

Initially I had problems getting through to the company, I was told all of the sales team were on calls and the lady I spoke too would pass my number on and someone would call me back. Several days later I hadnt been called and so began researching other products. I had pretty much settled on a Truma unit but thought I would try Powrtouch people one last time. Very glad I did, I spoke to a chap called Gavin who had excellent product knowledge and customer service skills and as I needed a mover fitted quickly offered not to take any payment until he could be sure fitting would be within my requirements.

I'm looking forward to seeing the thing in operation after fitting tomorrow and will let you know how it goes.

Hi Nick,

Did a little research over the past 24 hrs and made refrence to the P.C write up last July and was quite impressed with the write up on the Rhyno unit due to size, weight, clearance and of course price. Spoke to Rhyno who gave me all the required info on he unit and they did explain that I needed access both sides of the van to remove the rollers off the wheels which in may case is not a problem. Enquries on shockers, spare wheels, wheel clamps asked and all answers replied very professionally and knowledgable. Coming out to fit next week prior to going on holiday and no deposit required.

Very impressed just hope it works as required.

Thanks every one for the help.

Hi Rob,

I think you will be very impressed with the Rhyno unit. I had the unit fitted last Friday and the fitter was very efficient and just took two hours to fit. There is a 5 year guarantee and Simon at Rhyno always ready to give friendly advice.Word of warning.Ensure you have your battery fully charged(the caravan charger is probably a maintenance type) and to use, if possible, an acid type battery, not gel.

John.

Hi John,

Thanks for the info. I have a 85a.h battery which is the acid type. I will be using the Rhyno for basic positioning and not moving it much distance as the car does that, so will a 85 a.h be sufficent.

Thanks Rob
