Just had my movers fitted and what a joy! as i am a solo

driver/caravaner i can now go on more trips, such as St Emilion.

Not long now.

I'm glad that you find the mover has widened your scope for caravanning.

I knew and visited the inventor of the first caravan mover John Carver of Carver & Co (Engineers) Ltd whilst he was developing the first mover that drove the main wheels. His view was it should be there to help people like you who would otherwise have trouble manoeuvring a caravan either solo or though some infirmity.

Sadly he passed away 10 years ago, though the company still continues but no longer manufacturing caravan heaters and appliances having sold that part of its portfolio to Truma.

As far as I know the final prototype is still working on a Van Royce caravan somewhere in Derbyshire.
