Motorhome insurance

Hello everyone!
We’ve just joined the world of owning a motorhome!!
We’ve just bought a Fiat Ducati Compass 1993 with a 2.5 Turbo Diesel with 74,000 miles on. It looks to be in extremely good condition underneath and has had the upholstery renewed last year!!
Question is..........
We have had a huge insurance quote from our existing Direct Line people so we are looking around.
Has anyone got any good leads??

Hi Mark and Steph, welcome to motorhoming!
There are several specialist brokers you could try - a search for "motorhome insurance" will produce some, as well as some of the "comparison" sites (meerkats, opera singers etc).
When we were in the UK we found Lifesure gave us good value.

Hello Mark & Steph,
We've used Motorhome Facts for insurance for years as originally they were one of the few who would cover a bespoke build by a small converter without adding to the premium like many of the more mainstream companies do, if they insure them at all.
They are very competitive and well worth a phone call.
