MOUNTAIN PASSES

HI. CAN ANYONE ADVICE ME PLEASE. IM TRAVELLING IN JUNE,THROUGH ALSACE,THE BLACK FOREST,AUSTRIA,SWITZERLAND AND THE FRENCH ALPS.I HAVE A 2.4 DEISEL (NOT TURBO)AUTOSLEEPER CLUBMAN.I ALSO HAVE A SCOOTER RACK,WE LOVE TAKING THE SCOOTER AS ITS SO CONVIENIENT FOR TRAVELLING, ONCE SITED.MY WORRY IS, WILL THE EXTRA WEIGHT BE OK TO ALLOW ME TO GET UP THESE MOUNTAIN PASSES OK.THANKS IN ANTICIPATION. Just watch the Tour de France.

Ive been out to watch it on several occasions in the the Alps and you will find every imaginal form of motorhome high up in the mountains, many even on the Col de Galibier - some 2600 meters up!! They have no trouble at all, just select the right gearing and enjoy it!! You really will have no problem.
