We were disappointed when the Caravan Club closed their site at Much Wenlock. Drove past yesterday and was delighted to see it had reopened under private ownership. Looks like some cash has been spent as roads looked resurfaced and there are now loos and showers albeit limited. They are charging £15 for a pitch with 16 amps. For folks who don't know it the site is on the source side of the road between Much Wenlock and Church Stretton. Accessible from either end and although a B road quite OK for tourers and motor homes. I have no link with the owners, just like the site. In the area there's lots to do, Ironbridge and Bridgnorth are nearby. Telford with its free town park is less than 10 miles. Now called Presthope Grange caravan park and they can take tents
 
That is good news. I've had two stays there during the past few years. It's an area with so much to do and see. No doubt the two CLs in the same road won't like the site opening again.
