This site has been taken over by the owner of York Caravan Site and he is promising a major upgrade, including the electrics which certainly needed it. It is a well placed site in a nice location which we have used a couple of times. Just hope it does not hit the prices too hard to pay for the work.
 
Only stayed here a couple of times. Found the previous owners hard work. It was also too crowded for us. Also, if push comes to shove with the river, apparently you only get 30 minutes notice to get out. Manor Farm on the Bishopthorpe road is a far better site for York, IMO. Its a nice walk in on the riverside. Theres another newish one near the marina, but i got banned for suggesting to the owner people may like a bit more than a yard and a half between units!
