NEC Car Parking

I am going to the show on Sunsday.

I have been told that some of the car parking is free but some are charging £8. Can someone who has been tell me which are the free ones.

Thanks

Andrew

It say`s on the back of the ticket:

The NEC has it`s own onsite parking which is free of charge to visitors of the show.

We've been to the NEC for both the caravan and the Boat and Caravan shows and not paid for parking. It is supposed to be free but we do see people queueing at the ticket booth at the carpark entrance. We've never been asked for a parking ticket so I don't know how they know who's going to the caravan show and who's going to one of the shows that seem to run at the same time. Maybe parking is free for all of them - but then why is there a manned ticket booth and a parking price list displayed???

Just park and head for the show!

Some shows/exhibitions are free to park at the NEC, some you pay for. The caravans shows have been free all the time I've been going (since 1985 that is).

I think the last time I pay was for the Motor Show about ten years ago.

I did go once and when leaving I was asked which show I had been to, when I said the caravan show I did not have to pay. This was due to the car park being used for a trade show as well as the caravan show, they paid, we didn't.

That's why there are pay booth, just in case they are needed.
