NEC Caravan, Camping and Motorhome Show preview

The show is in Halls 1 to 5. Does anyone know which parking zones are being used. Will they use the West Car Park which seems to be the closest? For people that cannot walk much, which car park is best and how does one book that parking.

If you have a blue disabled badge, look for the disabled parking signs on the way in, they can sometimes be hard to spot so take it steady.
Eventually you'll arrive at an entrance with security / parking attendants. Show the badge and they will direct you to the disabled parking area which is often (but not always) close to the entrance.
The free bus service runs every few minutes, so really no matter where you park you won't have to do too much walking to get in.
Disabled visitors with a carer are admitted two for the price of one by prior arrangement. In effect the carer is admitted free of charge, you may be asked to produce a blue badge.
We're going for a bimble round on Wednesday, but won't be buying anything significant.
It's half term so my six year old granddaughter is coming with us, she hasn't been before but she loves our caravan.

At the Oct show disabled have under cover parking. At the Feb show it is a long walk from the disabled parking to the entrance so i have to sue my mobility scooter. If hiring a scooter inside it is a real effort to get to area as I found out the first time we visited without my scooter. A bit difficult producing the BB if it is left on the dashboard of the car. I carry a card from our local council to say that I am a "cared for" person, but have never been asked for proof. We are also going on Wednesday as it is a quieter day.
 
Which disabled parking area you are directed to can depend on what time you arrive, because the undercover area becomes full quickly, and who is directing you. Many are casual agency staff who don't appreciate the difficulties that some people have when walking.
When you're parked in the disabled area there is no compunction to display the blue badge, having shown it in order to be directed to disabled parking in the first place.
You have to pay for your ticket, showing proof of disability at the ticket office allows your carer to gain free admission.
If the disabled area is a long way from the entrance and you have to walk, look for the bus stop which won't be far away. There are often long queues at the bus stop but don't be put off, the buses are empty when they arrive and a bus full usually gets rid of the queue.
