NEC show temporary site.

Hi folks

Was just wondering wether to take the van to the NEC this year or just do it as a day trip.

What are the facilities like toilets , showers etc.

Also if i was to buy a new van at the show what are peoples views on the part ex deals they have had.Do they look at the van or do they make offers based on a guide like the glasses guide for cars.

Any info appreciated.

Although I didnt stay on the site last year I did go to the show.

A courtesy shuttle service to and from the camp site, was provided by Land Rover, very envious. I was there queing for the car park bus whilst the campers were being whisked off in Range Rovers!

At the show I spent some time negotiating for a new Abbey, The price for my trade in came straight out of Glasses Guide, although I did feel the overall deal was a fair one. I didnt buy in the end chosing to shop around a bit more. We will be going again in February just as its a nice show.

I have had my passes and details back, there is black, grey and dry waste disposal facility but no mention of showers. There does appear to be toilets.

You can not arrive before 1pm and must depart by 11am.

Fresh water is available but they are advising people to bring their own initial requirements.
