I need to replace 4 tyres on our Bailey, they are 185/65 R14 6ply 93/91N and none of the tyre dealers I have spoken to seem to have them available, can anyone recommend a supplier, either supply only or fitted, anywhere 50 mile radius of Bath. There are plenty of tyres avaialble in the size but the load rating 93/91 is the problem

Try www.blackcircles.co.uk - you buy the tyres on line and either have them delivered to you and arrange your own fitting, or go to one of the associated fitters you will see on the website.

Or mytyres.co.uk or just google tyres & plenty of internet tyre sales will come up.most have available fitters who will come round to your place & fit the tyres

A neighbour of mine recently had a new set of tyres supplied and fitted at home by www.etyres.co.uk. They have franchisees throughtout the country. He was quick and effcient and my neighbour is satisfied. Will try when we next need new tyres

Hi Woodsie

Try Newent Auto Centre (Tel.: 01531 828001). They may have Maxxis CR-965 trailer tyres which are made in the size you want as they are a Maxxis stockist.

I have now changed to GT Radails Kargomax ST6000 another trailer specific tyre with a load rating higher than the ST4000 range which allowed me to increase the margin between MTPLM and max combined tyre load. Got mine via Pneus-Online and had a local fitter put them on.

Thank you to all of you for your advice,I have managed to find a set of Maxxus tyres which are same as original fit,the problem was not the size, plenty of those available, it was the 93/91 load rating,so should be good for another 5 years now.,

......you certainly have tyres with a huge safety margin as by my calculations your 4 tyres are able to carry around 2500kgs!
