New Bailey Pageant Burgundy

We've just ordered our new 'van from Broad Lane, Daventry, the new Bailey Pageant Burgundy thanks to Practical Caravan. We read in the latest mag that Bailey were launching a new layout for Pageant which mirrors the Senator Indiana.

Bit of a gamble as we haven't seen it. We did have a good look at the Indiana which is too heavy (and expensive) for us, but the layout suits our needs.

Broad Lane tell us that the Burgundy will be same size as the Bordeax. Anyone got one and any comments?

Can't wait to see it at Earls Court next month.

Regards

Ken

I've looked at the Indiana layout and this new Bugundy could be just what we're looking for in the Pageant range. How long do you have to wait for it and did Daventry give you a good deal?

First, I've now discovered that the floor of the Burgundy is based on the Vendee, so its a bit longer than the Bordeaux, which is good for us. Broad Lane have done a deal which I am happy with. We're off to the Malvern show this weekend to see the Burgundy on display.

We've decided to change as my back doesn't like the pull-out beds in the Ranger. Bearing in mind that we are trading in a 'van that's not yet 2 years' old, we are losing a fair amount. We could probably have sold privately and got

Hi

I promised an update if anyone is interested.

Baileys sent me a leaflet which gives the usual brochure info.

We saw the Pageant Burgundy at the Malvern Caravan Show over the weekend and yes, I agree, it is the same length as the Vendee with a MTPLM of 1400kg. Thankfully both our cars can cope with this.

We are really pleased that we ordered this as it is the ideal layout for us. We have been quoted delivery in week 10 which I understand is mid March - not too bad seeing as they will be concentrating production on the Ranger Series 5.

Roll on next year....
