New Bailey Pegasus

Whilst checking a pipe under our new Pegasus caravan we noticed damage to underneath of the caravan on both sides which has penetrated the floor. This damage appears to have been made whilst the mover was installed. The dealer has not admittted responsibility and although we have sent photos to them, they want to see the caravan. Would be interested in other caravaners views on what we should do next or what avenue we should take.

just let the dealer look at it first and take it from there. it is common practice to ask to see damage but thats not saying there washing their hands of it. let them inspect it and see what they say. it may have been caused at the factory or even by the transport company, you just dont know.

Post you photographs in chit chat let the members see what you are referring to, it makes it a lot easier to interact with you when making a comment in support.

It would be better for Glyn to sort matters out to his satisfaction with the dealers before posting photos of the damage on a public forum Bob.

If the case had to be decided in court there could be a possibility of prejudicing his own case by posting the photos before giving the dealership a fair opportunity to put matters right if the damage was caused by them.
