New caravan.

Ok ....last year we bought a 1994 Avondale Pennine and have used it loads so now we want to upgrade.

What is it worth ? with full awning and all the extras. Nice and clean.

We have had a look around a few places and really like fixed bunks for the kids.

I have a 2.0t petrol Vauxhall Signum.

What Vans do you recommend around £8k

We have a Geist AK495 which has fixed bunks at the back in a separate bedroom area. It is a brilliant caravan - excellent build quality and we are really pleased with it - the other one we looked at was the Adria Altea 542DK (about 9k I think) - same layout but we opted for the Geist in the end. Having the separate bedroom is SO important for us - the kids go to sleep and you can still have a normal evening without disturbing them.

We have a 2009 Adria Altea 542DT.

It's the triple bunk layout, with large end bathroom and we absolutely love it.

It's build quality is excellent, and price wise it is at the more economical end of the market.
