Many thanks to those of you who replied to my earlier request for info.

I am about to buy a Bailey Ranger 500/5 (1996) as our first buy. Any comments about this unit would be appreciated also any suggestions as to the best awning supplier.

We have received excellent service from Bradcot. As beginners our awning collapsed the first time we used it - the poles actually bent! We rang them and they organised for them to be collected, at a date convenient to us, and within 48 hrs we had our new ones. I was so shocked I actually asked the delivery person if they had been delivered to Bradcots or just returned to us. Thats what I call service,

what a great choice. We looked at 3 or 4 500/5's for our first van but they were snapped-up too quickly at the dealership. We went for a Swift that was similar.
