Hi everybody! IÔve just registered in this forum. IÔm from Spain and I love camping and travelling!!. I use to go into some similar forums in Spain and now I have deceided that it would be superb going to others and share experiences with people abroad... and , of course... try to improve English!.

Next August IÔm gonna travel to Scotland an England for the whole month, and any tip you could give me will be welcome!!. Gracias.

Welcome!

Im pretty new to caravanning so you probably would get handier advice from a lot of the more experienced travellers on here, there is always a friendly hello here and lots to chat about anyway.

Scotland is wonderful, you have made a good choice to go there, try and head up to the north highlands if you can near the Isle of Skye as the scenery is wonderful up there.

have fun!

We live in England but have never towed as far as Scotland, one day when we have enough holiday we will make the trip.

Without wanting to start any arguments I think you are starting at the best end of the country, if you get the chance drive a little lower to Northumberland, its beautiful but dont tell anyone else or they will all want to go.

Have a great trip and tell us the best bits when you get back.

Hi Marilo and welcome,

Both England and Scotland are beautiful. May is my favourite month with all the blossom and new fresh green growth but I am sure you will have a ball whenever you are here. The brits spend enough time over there so its about time you lot came here for a bit!

England and Scotland are wonderful places to visit. However, do ensure that you bring along suitable clothing for sudden climate change.

Scotland is notorous for rain - the reason all those lochs are full! If you are then when the sun shines - you can't beat it.

England has various degrees of weather, depending on which part you are visiting. South has 'soft' rain, whereas the north east tends to have rain which falls horizontally!!!

Where ever you visit I hope you have a jolly good time.
