New leisure battery

When this has been changed does it usually need resetting? Just trying to work out why we haven't been able to get the battery power back on. Any advice please?
 
No! You should be able to disconnect - then reconnect without anything further. Take it you haven't got the poles reversed?
 
See if there's a fuse close to the battery which may have blown.
Also have you put a multimeter across the terminals just to make sure the battery is a good'un.
