New Lightweight Dome Porch Awnings

We are having trouble now in putting up a full awning and thought about the new dome shaped lighteight jobs, but have been told that they are not really storm/weather proof. The traditional porch awning have a more secure fitting to the side of the caravan, any suggestions on these new awnings gratefully welcomed.
 
I have a SunnCamp and think its excellent Maureen. Do a search, this topic as come up lots of times before. I think you will find the vast majority of posts are favourable. From personal experience I did have a BaseCamp and I found that inferior to the SunnCamp, the BaseCamp only lasted about 4 outings before ending up in a heap with broken poles. No such problems with SunnCamp though.
