New Member - Wanting Help choosing 1st Caravan

We are new to caravaning and looking to buy our first tourer.

We are wanting a 2 - 4 birth caravan (only me wife & 2 dogs!!), but the better half is fussy and will only have a separate shower (not shower & toilet combined), so we are looking at an end washroom.

Wondered if anyone had any suggestions, thinking of spending around £3500, so from what we have seen will be looking at a mid/late 90's I think. Have seen a Elddis Typhoon 1996, that was OK, but any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Ps Will be towing with a Focus C-Max 2.0TDCI, 85% rule = 1267kg MTPLM, Max towing limit is 1500kg

Check the weight of that van before you buy,as our friends bought the same year van and towed it with a 1996 2.00 petrol mondeo and could not stop it snaking and behaving badly.

After its maiden trip to cornwall,they had to take it back to the dealer and have a lighter van which was a Bailey .
