Hello to everyone we are converted "tenters" currently tug along my 1991 Corniche with my peugeot 406 hdi, travelled mainly to shropshire "weekend away" and devon/ cornwall for the "weeks" camped for three years before being HOOKED by caravan-itus...
 
I tented for 21 years as an adult before we got a van almost accidently (sister and brother in law bought it and did not like towing, so we borrowed it before buying it).

Have not looked back since.

My advice is try everything at least once - CC and commercial sites, CLs and rallying, you will be surprised at the diversity of choices available to you.
