hello everyone, new members.
my wife and me have just got our first caravan. after a few years of tenting we have decided to take a step into caravaning, so over the weekend we purchased our first one.
its a 1999 lunar solar 524, think this is the right sort of size for us, as it is only us and the dogs now.
trying to find the technical spec for this model as we need to find an awning for it.
hopefully will be popping in and out of here for advice every now and then.

still not sure on how the awnings work sizewise though. its says its a 965cm, does this mean i have to find one the correct size, sorry just a bit confused by this

If you want a full size awning; in other words one that fits all the way around the awning rail then you need to find one sized 965cm. If you go on most awning manufacturers websites they will show you the sizes. Most private ads will tell you the size. If you want a porch awning or an awning that is not full sized then the 965 doesn't matter. Have a look at pictures of different awning types and this will get a bit clearer.
