Keen caravaners back in the 1970s we have just started again now grandchildren can accompany us. Have a 1yo Elite Trekker and use Shogun to tow it. Very satisfactory combination.

I have just posted a note elsewhere on this site asking about gas availabiliuty in France. We have a month booked there with our g'children as soon as school finishes.

Welcome back Bob.

I remember 1970' caravanning. I'm sure you'll enjoy the improvements in the sites over the last three decades.

Plenty to see and do these days.

Happy vanning.

Welcome.

tell me honestly.

Had you realised how much fun grandchildren were, would you have done it first.

Grandchildren - lovely. They go home at night (mostly). I can get my own back on my son and daughter and spoil their kids to my heart's content. I can win at draughts, chess, and cards when I want to! I don't have to wash their kit / clean their boots after rugby/soccer/etc - but I can if I want to.

I love all 5 to bits and am looking forward to the 3 eldest accompanying her indoors and me to S. Britany in July and August.
