New / Old Caravaner

Just a quick hello before I get into the wealth of knowledge from my fellow caravaners. Fairly new to my own caravan, but spent all my childhood holidays in one. Hopefully I can have as much fun with my partner and our dogs.

Many of us started our caravanning days as children on family holidays and the excitement of caravanning never really leaves you. I'm sure you and your partner and dog will enjoy your caravan, just as you did in the early days!

Welcome back. I too, experienced caravanning as a kid, on Pipers Field in Dymchurch.
If it rained, Dad would be found stuffing candle wax into window frames. Never stopped leaks tho'.
Gas lighting and chemical loo bucket were normal then. Talking 70 yrs ago.
