New (old) tiny van!

Hello, I’m very excited that on Friday our new little van will get dropped off!
We’ve just bought a little 2001 Elddis Avante 362.
It’ll fit on the drive and we hope to decorate inside and out as a project for weekend memories.
Towing it with my Octavia Scout.
We previously had a brand new Bailey Phoenix but the timing was wrong for us.
We’re hoping with the change in jobs and more time we can enjoy this one a little more!

I’ll no doubt have questions about fixing things as we progress!!

Welcome aboard Not to put too much of a dampener on your enthusiasm but Elddis caravans are known to leak particularly around the front windows and roof straps, Please inspect the inside around the front windows and side walls for sign of discolouration and softness of the walls , especially behind the curtains and if you find any and you bought it from a dealer then ask for it to be fixed FOC or reject it , I hope you have bought a good one and have many happy holidays in it

It’s 25 yr old!! I’m sure there’ll be some issues to sort out but it was at a price we’re happy with and will be doing a bit of sprucing up.
