Anyone had a look at, or even bought, the new model sante Fe? Any thoughts? Is the price hike worth it?

I had a long test drive - the leather quality is much higher, some other cabin materials are improved but others are still hard plastic - front seat travel is longer and 2nd row slides back or forward - 3rd row access is poor, much worse than previous model.
Ground clearance is lowered and the driving position is lowered in the bodywork - it's no longer a SUV, it's "just" a CUV.
Engine and suspension noise is well subdued, better than the previous model - ride is better in new model, at least on the 18" wheels fitted to Style and Premium. Official fuel consumption figures are slightly better.
Despite the big price increase, the Premium model is de-specified compared to the old model - no electric driver's seat and fewer adjustments to the seat itself.
I'm not replacing my 2011 Santa Fe with one of the new ones !!
 
Thank you Roger. My OH is fancying swapping our perfectly good 2008 Sante fe for a new one. I will make him aware of your feedback.
