These seem cheaper caravans and i have found an unused 2008 one at a dealer for 8 and a half grand, what are they really like and is there any known faults, and as its a bit heavier than i usualy tow, would a 2000cc do the job,Thx
We bought one in June 2007and have used it Summer and Winter, touch wood no problems yet.We like its size for the 2 of us. Be carefull of opening the washroom door when the oven / grill is in use the flap can make a hole in the door. The salesman showed us how things worked and promptly put a hole in the door, replaced by them under warranty even so we have put scratches on the door even though we fitted a rubber door stop.
We tow with a Land Rover Freelander with no problems and power to spare.
we bought an alpine 2 earlier this year, were well pleased with it. we were new to caravaning and find it dead easy work. i pull it with a ford focus 1.6 tdci 110bhp, pulls it nice.
