New Sprite Alpine and Tow Car

Hi there, ive been looking at the all new Sprite Alpine,Low weight and Fixed Bed! what are peoples thoughts are they ok? Also Tow Cars, comments about Mazda 6 Estate 2.0 Diesel 136ps or the VW passat estate 1.9 Diesel 130 ps, what would you prefer as a tow car or do you own one.
 
We have just made the same decision on the tow car we currently have the new shape mondeo estate and wanted a change this time so picked between the mazda or passat. Went with the passat and awaiting delivery. It's tried and tested themazda is still quite new and we had that with the mondeo!

most diesl,s will make a good tow car, I have a Mazda 626 2lt and is a fine tow car the Mazda 6 was tow car of the year 2004 in it's class, I had Passat previously "good" but Mazda is better but it is a personal choice, stick to the 85% rule and you wont go far wrong with either. have fun
