just logged into this site for the first time ever today,really interesting reading all the technical enquiries as i have been a towbar fitter for the last 14 years and have seen vast changes over that period on towbar installations.would love to answer any questions if i can,i also worked on trailers until about 4 years ago but am now primarily fitting towbars only,will look forward to talking to other users of this site and hearing feedback.

I have a question - we have a 1994 Disco with single electrics, how hard is it to fit the grey electrics if we bought from Halfords/Towsure? do you have to have a degree to fit them!!!

Also, where in the country are you based?

Hi Ian ,welcome to Forum, my question is ,because of the rear sensors being on soon as i reverse i thought if i turn the ball upside down until we tow again would the bolt/nut be compromised after a while. Of course the bolt would be torqued each time when putting back right way up. Thanks.
