I have about £4000 to spend on a Caravan, I am looking for a smallish, just for two of us, and we would like a bedroom that we do not have to make-up every time, so we might have to get a 4 birth? Any one know what we could get for that price?

Hi Paul,

A reasonable request.

If you want a conventional white box-shaped caravan, then there are plenty of examples and plenty of advice on here.

If you want something stylish, that has other road user smiling, and is easy to tow, then a 3 or 4 berth Eriba may be something to consider (www.eriba-amiga.co.uk)

Our 3-berth Eriba Triton has a flexible king sized bed at the rear of the van, which we leave made up as two normal sized single beds with plenty of walking space to reach the end lockers.

The front of our Triton has a two seater dinette, table, hob, sink and toilet. For us, it's perfect.

The downside is that the superior build quality means that the Eriba range of vans are more expensive than the usual UK caravans, so you would be looking at a 10 year old Eriba - but since most of the original Eribas from the 50's are still around - 10 years old is just run-in.

Robert
