New to caravanning - assistance needed

I have just purchased a Trophy Aglia caravan and believe it to have been built between 1986 - 1988.

Can anyone provide any further details about this particular make/model ?

I have read some of the comments on the forum regarding older caravans but it does seem to be in excellent condition. My wife and I only need to have a couple of weekend breaks and it will have paid for itself.

Certainly the safety components are in good working order.

I am new to this forum - posted a message in another section and have to say that everyone seems friendly and helpful - thanks

Your dates are about right. We had a 1987 Agrarian, which was in the same range as the Aglia. From some bumph that I still have, it seems that in 1987 there were two versions of the Aglia, the Aglia 5 and the Aglia 450-4, 5 and 4 berth models respectively. Both had a maximum gross weight of 19.64 cwt.We loved our Trophy, so I hope you will get a lot of pleasure from yours.

Incidentaly, the manufacturer was Trophy Caravans Ltd. In 1987, they were based at Orchard Mill, Croston, Nr Preston. I know they later moved, and went out of business in about 1993.
