Hello Blue rocket, welcome to the Practical Caravan forum and congratulations on buying your first caravan.
You are in good company on this forum because we have a lively contingent from Yorkshire and quite a few Bailey owners who will be able to advise you on anything that you want to know about your caravan.
My tip is to compile a list of essentials that you must take on your maiden voyage and save it on your computer so that you can print copies, things like the ehu (electric hook up) lead, the corner steady winder and most important of all the bottle opener / corkscrew.
Have a look Here for some tips on the safe loading of your caravan
Happy caravanning

Hi, welcome to the forum. Best tip is to take your time when hitching, unhitching, and so on. It does get easier but there is a lot to think about at the beginning. happy 'vanning.

Hi - welcome to another newbie although we've got a weekend and a five day trip under our belts now! Everyone on this forum is very friendly and full of welcome advice. Good luck in your new caravan. Wish we'd taken the plunge a lot earlier but going to make up for lost time now! Happy caravanning. LIsa and John.

Hi Guys
Welcome to PCF.
I have not been on for long myself but I have just bought a new caravan and joined in February. I have a few caravanning years under the belt but the selection of brains on the forum is very useful.
I have just bought a Pegasus Bologna which we took delivery of at the end of March.
I have had a couple of fairly minor teething problems but I am eager to know how you get on with your new van.
I have always had Bailey's and I am sure you will be very happy with yours.
I absolutely love caravanning and I am sure you will too.
Always ask if you are not sure, mistakes can be very costly or spoil your experience, neither of which is recommended!!
I hope you have years of happy caravanning in front of you.
It took me 11 years to persuade my wife to give it a try and she loves it now. She even enjoys caravanning!!
Have fun and the best of luck.
