Well after many years of touring the UK we have decided to make the plunge this year into Europe and making the long journey to the northern Austrian boarder region (Kossen)
Is there anybody who can give us some advice with regards to the using the electrics, connecting to the internet and any other handy hints on do's and don'ts.
We are arriving via the ferry from Ijmuiden near Amsterdam and making our way through Netherlands and then through Germany with a strategic stop over south of Antwerp and then onto our final destination to Kossen in Austria. :woohoo:
Any advice will be greatly received it would be even better if you had stayed on the site that we have chosen in Kossen and could give us some tips
Many thanks

Try this link http://joysofeuropeancaravanning.co.uk/. Diane who runs the website is a regular poster on this forum and I believe she visits Austria every year.

Depending on your ferry timings and planned route, going through Luxembourg may be worth while as they normally have some of the lowest prices in Europe. Also some good campsites for an overnight.

Some years since I went to Austria but found in very clean and tidy and scenic, although somewhat short of vegatables in the supermarkets. Some of the motorways are now toll neading a vignette so check up before you go.

Innsbruch and the Zillertel valley are good, the latter claims to be among the sunniest places in central Europe.

Have a great trip !
