New to forum

Hi
Just new to the forum. Started caravanning last year at the age of 60 but realising how much fun it is and wondering why on earth I left it so late! Hoping to venture abroad next year but content to tour locally (N.I.) and in Scotland this year. Can't wait to get away next month.

Welcome Col K.

I was also 60 when my daughter purchased and old caravan for my birthday and over the last 9 years upgraded.

My family now say that I am a caravan anorak as I am always on forums, reading caravam magazines or watching caravan programs on thr TV, after years of swearing that I would not drag a white box behind the car

Welcome Col.
So where and when in Scotland?
I'll be up there in august / September for four weeks.
Enjoy the banter on the forum.

Welcome the forum. Afraid I might be another anorak although I never swore I would not have one before taking the plunge as my parents had one before that.

Thank you to everyone for your kind replies. I too have become addicted very quickly to caravanning and can't wait to get out and about with it. Hope to go to Witches Craig near Stirling but going to try a few sites nearer home first. Have wanted to do this for years but it's only now that I'm retiring (June - can't wait!) that I have the money and more importantly the time.
